Joined by her husband, Jeremy Parisi, the pair will be tackling a grueling 12,500km journey across South America, competing against three other celebrity teams.
The show, known for its challenging format, will see the teams start their adventure in Belém, Northern Brazil, and traverse five checkpoints across the continent before reaching the finish line in Frutillar, southern Chile, nestled in the Andes mountains.
A Race Against Time and Technology:
"Celebrity Race Across the World" is a BAFTA award-winning show that pushes its participants to their limits. The teams will be given a budget equivalent to the cost of a flight to their starting point and are forbidden from using planes during the race.
Further emphasizing the challenge, participants will be cut off from the modern world, leaving behind their smartphones, internet access, and bank cards. They will rely solely on their resourcefulness, paper maps, and the kindness of strangers to navigate their way across the vast South American landscape.
